My Wordless Wednesday is interrupted for an important announcement about SOPA and PIPA.

Secretary Mommy says there are naughty Congress and Senate people who want to eat the internet. They made Acts that go too far and would make it easy for your favorite sites to be shut down because, instead of politely asking sites like You Tube to please remove a copyright violation or even a perceived violation that really isn’t one, a company can just make them turn off. Then my little dog with no tail videos would be lost!!!  And my Facebooky page could get eaten too, because a single person posting something they shouldn't could shut down the entire site!  It also would make things hard for the internet peoples who would have to block them.

It is very upsetting and I am scared of losing all my Facebook and bloggy space friends! You can sign a petition asking them not to eat the internet here: https://www.google.com/landing/takeaction/

And you can read lots of big words about it here:

and here:

Better yet, call or write to those silly Congress and Senate peoples and ask them not to eat the internet. It really won't taste very good for anyone.

Secretary Mommy's note: Please take the concerns about SOPA and PIPA seriously. While the goal of the Acts is good, the solution that they seek to get there is not. Get informed, call or write to your representatives, and speak out. Thanks!
