Note: By "intimate portrait" I mean photos depicting partial nudity. 
 Whenever someone makes the news or gets famous,  embarrassing photos always seem to surface.  This year's Rolex winner William Fox-Pitt is no exception. Ladies I offer you a rare glimpse of William FP and some other British eventers who are easy on the eyes. William was the September pinup in the infamous Bareback calendar, circa 2008...

SEPTEMBER: William Fox-Pitt

The calendar was put together as a fundraiser for Claire Lomas, an eventer who was  injured in a fall in 2007.  What an inspired idea  -- I know I would have bought one. Well, actually I tried to buy one but they sold out eons ago. Three years later, it looks like Claire is doing very well, and the world is a better place for having these images on the Internet. BTW, I sent a little something to Claire (her blog is really inspiring) and corresponded with her a little.  Helping her is the whole point of the calendar, so if you enjoyed it consider a donation to her cause. My Door!

You all were right!  I gots my very own doggie door. That way, I can go in and out of the screen porch without Mommy and Daddy leaving the big door open. Here I am learning how to use it with the flap held up. It is kind of like doing agility school tricks.

I'm still learning how to push the flap. I think it is easier to do when Mommy and Daddy put peanut butter on it. When I use the flap, the bugs won't get in. But little dogs with no tails will! I will kind of miss the bugs though.

A Toad-ally Cute Tee-shirt!

I got another real cute tee-shirt! This one has pretty pink sleeves, but the best part is the FROG on the front. Ribbit, ribbit!
Here is a close-up, in case you cannot see the frog too good. He is made of sequins, so the frog is very shiny. I guess real frogs are shiny, too. On account of they are covered in slime.
And I figured out the best accessory for a frog shirt is... a FROG! On my HEAD!
Balancing stuff is hard.

The Rottweiler was originally bred to be a protector of livestock, but its powerful features soon made it a favored guard dog as well. The Rottweiler continues to be a much favored watch dog and guard dog to this day, as well as a trusted companion and family member.

The highly protective nature of the Rottweiler makes it a great choice for guarding homes as well as livestock, but it also means that it is very important for owners of these dogs to properly socialize their puppies. A properly socialized Rottweiler can be a lifelong companion and trusted friend, but a poorly socialized dog can be a danger to people and other animals.

The Rottweiler is one of the largest of all dog breeds, and one of the heaviest as well. A male Rottweiler can measure from between 24 and 27 inches at the shoulder and weigh between 95 and 130 pounds. Females tend to be a bit smaller, with a height of between 22 and 25 inches and an average weight ranging from 85 to 115 pounds.

As with other large breeds of dogs, Rottweilers are prone to hip dysplasia, and owners should be on the lookout for this inherited disease. When buying a puppy from a breeder, it is important to get assurances that the parents have been tested for this genetic defect. Reputable Rottweiler breeders are constantly trying to breed this disease out of their puppies. It is also important for Rottweiler owners to develop a good relationship with a quality veterinarian and to discuss any breed specific health concerns with the vet.

Ever since our friend G had his car stolen on Valentine's Day two years ago, he's been overly concerned with security. He blames his stolen car on sheer bad luck and reminisces about his stolen baby whenever we start talking about car-related issues. And though he's pretty much accepted the fact that his car is forever gone, I think he regrets not taking certain precautions that could have helped trace his stolen car like installing a GPS Tracking System. adus

So what does a GPS Tracking device actually do? Well, GPS Tracking provides vital information needed to ascertain your location when driving, where you're heading and it also takes into account the approximate time of your arrival.

For parents with driving teenagers at home, this is actually a wonderful safety device you can use to help you keep tabs on your kids. I don't mean that in a negative way of course for I don't see it as spying on your kids. In fact, I think GPS Tracking is an excellent way to help keep your children safe.

We often hear unfortunate stories about tragic accidents involving less-experienced teenage drivers. Having a GPS Tracking device installed in your car could help keep your children safe whilst giving you the peace of mind knowing your children's whereabouts when they're away from home. By monitoring their driving speed, location and time duration of travel, you as a parent will be able to exert more control and guidance on your kids while they're on the road even though you are not physically with them inside the car. No Rug for Us!

When I finally get my own kitty room like Smokey, I want a nice huge mat for my brothers and me to play on. We can never get enough of scratch mats and the more we have around at home, the less likely we'll scratch on Master's rug. She only has one by the way but we love this rug and we scratch it whenever we're inside her room. Maybe that's why we've been locked out of her room these last few days. Smiley


I think Master is looking into buying a new rug and she's keeping it very hush hush. Little did she know that I was hiding behind her laptop while she was designing her new rug and I saw everything! She was quietly working on and designing her new rug with the online rug builder she found at Rug Couture! Smiley

It seems you can now design your own rug online and Master has her eyes on a really cute paw-print rug from Rug Couture. There are over 1,000 colours to play around with and you can choose from hundreds of designs like funky contemporary or truly outrageous but Master really seemed to like the paw-print rug. All custom rugs from Rug Couture are made from New Zealand Wool by the way.

At first, I thought the paw-print rug was for us cats but later I overheard Master telling B that she is afraid we'd mess up her new rug too so she plans to put it inside the guest-room, which we're NEVER allowed in! Sneaky Master! takbole

Fluffy Friday # 22 - Catch Me if You Can! **

Phoebe is the quickest of my cats. Whenever she hears me opening the kitty condo doors to shoo them inside for the night, she'll immediately squeal and run away to hide. Her favourite hiding spot? Underneath my dining table because she knows it is difficult for me to reach for her there. And I almost always end up chasing her around and around the table like a Mad Master! Smiley

I am no Broadway Buff but if I ever get the chance to visit New York one fine day, I'd surely include LMAO Off-Broadway on my agenda. Simply because I fancy myself as being adventurous (not in a rock-climbing backpacking kind of way though!) when it comes to trying out new attractions that seem to be a hit with the locals like Broadway comedy! ihikhik

LMAO Broadway is an off-broadway's newest musical comedy extravaganza! I do like anything extravaganza and watching a Broadway comedy is something I've never tried so I am game for some laughs. Ranging from American Idol and Glee to Tiger Woods and Charlie Sheen, topics are changed daily and YOU as part of the audience will decide on the topics for every scene. The cast will then perform their comedy songs and sketches based on your choice, pretty cool right? The show is currently running at Midtown Theatre in Times Square, which has also been renovated for extra comfort and glam to accommodate its 200-capacity. tepuktangan
