Light your pup up this holiday! Posted: 15 Dec 2010 01:36 PM PST Our friends over at Puplight have shared this cool new collar accessory with us to test out on the Big Paw dogs. It is a light that helps you while walking your dog at night, among other things. “PupLight, this holiday-season's must-have dog safety product, is lighting the way for dog-lovers everywhere. We would give this two paws up – the light comes with an adjustable collar – or you can attache the light directly to your dog’s current collar. We decided to strap it directly to our dog’s collar as it seemed more secure – they are really big dogs so I wanted to make sure it was on. One of my dogs thought it was the bomb – he was shining the thing all over the back yard hunting for night squirrels My other dogs was a bit freaked out at first, so I put the leash on him and we ventured out for a stroll. I have to saw I was skeptical about it “lighting up” the sidewalk – but I have to say it was quite powerful. I think the best part is probably if you dog is a darter – sort of like a reflective safety collar – but this time you can see the dog coming – not waiting for lights to hit the reflection strip. It comes in 4 colors and is about $20….well worth it. Also – make sure you have batteries….I had to run to the store, as they are not included.
