Whether you take Fluffy and Fido with you or stay at home to greet trick or treaters….here is a list of tips to keep fido safe on the way to your Howl'oween festivities, on behalf of Toyota and Megan Blake, Pet Expert – Animal Attractions TV, : * Buckle up – Always be sure to restrain your pet when traveling in your automobile. Toyota offers multiple lines of pet travel accessories available at dealerships to safely secure your pets while in transit such as booster seats and zip lines. An unrestrained pet can distract the driver and injure themselves and the drive in an accident. * Location, Location, Location – Keep pets out of the front seat unless they are secured in a booster seat that won't trigger the front airbag in an accident. Pets should be secured in the backseat or cargo area of the vehicle for their safety. * Safety Before Fashion – Never dress up your pet in his Halloween costume until you arrive at your destination to avoid getting his costume caught on something in the car and potentially harming him. |
